So I remade the side pieces, and was a little more careful cutting around the tabs this time (a little too much so… I hardly have any tabs LOL) But it feels and fits much better, so whatever.
I got the hoops in the panniers. Still have to attach it to the waistband, do a little handsewing on the hoop casings and get some ribbon to tie the inside into the right shape.
